Immediately after registration for the “flight”, passengers are escorted to their seats according to their boarding passes.
A First Airlines virtual reality restaurant has opened in Tokyo. The restaurant’s guests are immersed in the atmosphere of a flight right from the door.
First, the guest approaches the check-in desk, next to which there is an information board where you can see the schedule of “flights”. At the check-in desk, visitors are met by waitresses who look like flight attendants. They issue boarding passes and a souvenir passport.
Immediately after check-in, passengers are escorted to their seats according to their boarding passes. The seats in the restaurant are the same as in the business classes of the Airbus A310 and A340 series aircraft. Just like in a real plane, you can recline in your seat.
Once all passengers are seated, the flight attendant gives a safety briefing. After this, the plane is ready for takeoff: the seats and floor vibrate, and passengers must fasten their seat belts.
In front of the seats there is a screen that broadcasts the view through the windshield of the plane. During the flight, passengers are given virtual reality glasses, thanks to which they can take a “trip” to different cities.
After a 20-minute tour, it’s time for lunch. Of course, passengers are given complimentary drinks, just like in business class. The meal consists of four courses, and the menu depends on the flight.
The restaurant offers four flight points: Hawaii, New York, Paris, Rome and Helsinki. And this two-hour pleasure costs a little more than $50, which is much cheaper than a real business class ticket.
